TextVault runs entirely on your Mac. It reads the Messages history already stored on your Mac and writes the PDF locally; your messages are never uploaded to us or anyone else.

TextVault keeps no copy of your messages. The app's only automatic network call is an optional update check (it sends the app version, not your data), and you can turn it off in Settings. Your license key is verified offline.

When you buy, Stripe handles checkout: your email and payment details go to Stripe so we can issue your license key (we never see your card). We keep a minimal license record (license ID, email, purchase date) to resend keys and process refunds.
